Spring is almost here, at least on this side of the world so I thought I’d write a little bit about it and make sure you’re ready to face it with some new vocabulary that I hope you can study, «spring into action» (pun intended), and use in class with us! Let’s start! (I’ll try to keep it short so you can read it fast, take your notebook, write down everything and continue with your day).

• Blossom into (something): I’ve watched your confidence blossom into something amazing this year.
• Spring cleaning: This weekend is all about spring cleaning my study space and my English notes.

Watch Out for ‘Hay Fever’: It’s not about hay or fever, but those annoying allergies to pollen. Every spring my hay fever kicks in.

Question: Do you suffer from hay fever? What are your symptoms and how do you manage it?

• Sprout up: New cafes seem to sprout up around here every spring.
• Fresh as a daisy: After that holiday, I’m back feeling fresh as a daisy and ready for our English class!
